Pioneer Days

The Society hosted Johnson Creek 3rd Graders to the Annual Pioneer Day.  On May 22nd, 2025 the children participated in making butter, washing clothes, planting 3 Sisters, using feathers and ink to write messages on village image postcards and sealing the envelope with wax, saw logs, pounding dowels out, assemble log cabin, learning to cart and spin wool!  We were fortunate to have Becky Mehringer give the children a talk on caring for Bees.
